AR used for medical and educational purposes

The client was an established international pharmaceutical company. Their challenge was how to demonstrate the effects of anti-inflammatory drugs to health care professionals.
Swiss Tomato developed an interactive Augmented Reality App using marker-based technology. With the app, you could see a very high-quality 3D model of an eye in AR with all the correct anatomical details, then see the eye being dissected and see how the drug is administered and how its mechanism works.
The AR app was very well received by ophthalmologists at various medical conferences and helped the uptake of the anti-inflammatory drug.
