AFI

The Client
The Alliance for Financial Inclusion is a political alliance owned and led by member central banks and financial regulators from developing countries, whose aim is to advance financial inclusion. Their online platform is a means of presenting their members, the various events they organize around the world and the training courses they offer.

The Challenge
Their site was old, very slow to load and needed to be reorganized to enhance the large amount of content it presented. It was important to take into account the site’s future administrators, to make their job easier and avoid duplicate content, and to make it easier for end-users to find the content they were looking for.

The Solution
After working with the customer to organize the pages and produce a clear site architecture, Swiss Tomato designed and developed the AFI site pages to make them clearer and more modern, without losing users with new codes.
All content has been migrated, rearranged and new functionalities added, to deliver greater value to the end-user. In particular, the site now features a map of members, to give them greater visibility and enable content produced in connection with each of them to be highlighted.
Results
Administrators and end-users save time by finding the content they’re looking for more easily, which enhances the value of AFI’s work around the world.
