Website development – CICAD

During the website development project, we created features such as creating connection with iRaiser payment services, calendar and bookstore that helps to access documents in a simple way for a better user experience.

The client

CICAD is a non-profit organization whose mission includes the fight against antisemitism and the enforcement of Swiss anti-racism legislation.

We received the prototype of the site of another development company that had to be completely rewritten according to the needs of the customer.

The project

During the website development project, we created features such as creating connection with iRaiser payment services, calendar and bookstore that helps to access documents in a simple way for a better user experience. Integration of social media platforms was also part of the project in the customized CMS under Drupal.

Visitors to the site also have the opportunity to report actions by adding attachments to their messages.

Specificities

There is the possibility to subscribe to the newsletter. A video gallery and a photo gallery whose coding was custom made are also editable by the client, as well as the popup on the homepage.

Like every time when creating a customized page, it is possible to add images and individual texts. As part of the project, we created many static pages with individually developed site structures (layout), as well as dynamic pages whose content varies under the predefined structure of the programming code. The website gives access to the archives and we have also added the option to make it multilingual. We also had to import cca. 400 articles from the old Drupal page and changing their categorization at the same time. For this, we created different tests to get to the final categorization defined by CICAD.

We have integrated the option of sending emails via an individual code, separated from Drupal in the algorithm of several pages in order to directly inform the client on a registration or an order of a document.
