La Liberté is the most important daily paper in the canton of Fribourg with more than 100 years of history.
The app is innovative and offers a lot of functionalities. Users have a personalised news feed. They can choose which subjects or fields are the most important for them. Users can also select for which type of news they want to receive notifications, in this way, they are sure to don’t miss anything. Moreover, the app offers customised recommendations of readings regarding the habits of each user. The app knows its users and it makes the difference.
Swiss Tomato developed the front-end of the application and we worked together with Client’s other agencies to make this app stand out.
What also makes the app unique is the “Club” and the “Cultural Agenda” tabs. Thanks to the “Club” tab, users can have access to exclusive offers (discounts, special advantages…) and amazing contests. With the “Cultural Agenda” tab, users can stay informed about the cultural offer of their region (events, sports…). In addition, thanks to the “Digital First” tab, users can discover articles before others, no need to wait the following morning.
The app improves the reading experience too. Graphics and ergonomics have been carefully developed to offer a fluid and pleasant reading. The app is enhanced with all the contents of La Liberté. Users can enjoy pictures, video, the drawings of Alex and even more.
