MCI Spots – A corporate parking spot sharing app

Why not use sharing economy within firms? MCI, the world’s largest event organizing company with HQ in Geneva, has decided to make the most of innovation also for in-house processes and increase employee happiness by introducing the MCI Spots app that allows parking spot holders to share their spot while they are away on a business trip, vacation or enjoying the benefits of working from home.

People without a parking spot can just book an empty spot and they are good to go, while sharers can earn a point and try to be top on the leaderboard. Sharers are motivated by great rewards, like hotel vouchers for those who earned the most points.

Employees just use their corporate single sign-on which provides peace of mind for the IT folks and ease of use for the users.
