Zeiss Touchscreen application development

Zeiss needed a touchscreen solution for the Control Show in Stuttgart which could strengthen the brand’s image as a leading innovator and could also serve as an outstanding sales tool. Together with Visual Excellence Studio, Swiss Tomato developed a touchscreen app which had the following key features:

• 3D object handling and animation
• Making a motorblock transparent
• Showing possible motorblock defects on an interactive 3D modell
• Interactive experience with special contents like videos, product details etc

Besides the technical challanges regarding the 3D object management, the key challenge was the impossible timing, as we had only less than a month to design and develop this application. Our team worked day and night to be able to deliver a perfect application just at the start of the Control faire.
