Victory! – Best of Swiss Apps 2019

We were looking forward to a promising night again this year at the Best of Swiss Apps Award Ceremony yesterday.

The hard-working Swiss Tomato team has put together all its best to create the most efficient and easy to use apps with the greatest designs possible for its customers all along the year.

We are very proud that we have won the Bronze Trophy in the Enterprise category with MCI Share. Furthermore, our other nominee, the Mazda AR /VR app made it to the Top 5 in the AR /VR category. With these results, Swiss Tomato was the best app development agency of 2019 in Suisse Romande.

MCI is a global event & marketing agency headquartered in Geneva with offices in 31 countries. MCI booked 2.8 million hotel nights in 2018: their key goal is to deliver the best venue and accommodation for their clients. MCI partnered with Swiss Tomato to develop an app that enables MCI to provide clients with personalised venue requirements. The app solution, an internal Tripadvisor app, allows MCI event experts to globally share their hotel knowledge with colleagues seamlessly, efficiently and in real-time. The event experts can rate and review hotels, browse for the best-rated hotels and they can earn badges and points with every review – no wonder more than 500 reviews were already written and more coming every day.

The Mazda CX-30 was announced at the Geneva Motor Show in Sprint 2019 but the car was only available for dealers as of  October. We developed an AR and a VR app where you can explore the car from the exterior and from the inside and the app lets you change colors, open doors or pack the trunk. The app was intended for the car dealers to create interest and test drives. Agents had it installed on their iPad and Oculus Go headset.
