FDI Aimed to create an easy to use web application, which would replace an existing paper based periodontal diseases chairside guide.

A Drupal-based web application, Disease Profile Tool( https://www.disease-profile-tool.fdiworlddental.org/), featuring a risk assessment tool, member management, and secure anonymous storage of assessment results. Based on the outcomes, the platform recommends different treatment options, which can also be shared directly with the patient.
Results
The development of a Drupal-based web application brought significant benefits, further supporting OHPs in their decision-making process. In addition to enabling unlimited use of the disease assessment tool, the platform also delivers general information in a more engaging and practical way, such as through videos and animated illustrations.
