ETH Zurich MAS alumni
Introduction

The Challenge
ETH Zurich holds multiple academic courses, with many programs available to students. ETH program coordinators wanted to ensure students can have access to the tools and readings.
The Solution
Swiss Tomato was entrusted to create a WordPress website for the university’s MAS Mediation Peace Processes program. On this website, alumni and program staff can create a profile and log in to their accounts. Once logged in, they have access to all readings covered throughout the university program. For easy access, a search bar and multiple filters are available that help users find what they are looking for through tags and reading modules. The tools learned throughout the course are also available to the users on a separate page, linking to frameworks and videos.
A page is dedicated to the alumni, where each registered member can be found on a map. A list view is also available, and users can search for alumni based on different criteria, such as nationality, country of expertise and employer type. Based on user preference upon registration, their contact information and country of residence can also be found.
The Results
The WordPress website was very well received by ETH Alumni when it was presented at an alumni gathering in June 2024. It’s easy to use design and intuitive navigation allow users to access the information they need in their professional careers, as well as find contacts quickly.
