The Client<\/h2>\r\n

The University of Kansas Center for Community Health and Development\u2014owners and operators of the \u201cCommunity Tool Box,\u201d a globally accessed public-service platform dedicated to community health and development information. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

The Challenge<\/h2>\r\n

The platform was built on Drupal 7, which was approaching its End of Life (EOL). The university needed a timely upgrade to ensure continued stability and security.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The project required support for right-to-left languages (Arabic, Farsi), including font nuances and translation integrity\u2014Drupal 7\u2019s translation structure had inconsistencies, leading to unlinked translations in some cases.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Integration of external systems like Qualtrics with Drupal Webforms had to be maintained seamlessly as part of the migration.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The upgrade needed to be completed within tight deadlines, limiting the scope for iterative design revisions. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n
