Beexfit is an organisation that has opened multiple fitness centres in the Swiss Romand area. With a high success rate and many clients who aim to increase their fitness levels using the principles focused on at Beexfit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

The Challenge <\/h2>\r\n

Despite Beexfit having opened multiple gyms with personal trainers available at each site, Beexfit is facing a higher request from clients than they can currently serve. Part of the training requires users to keep track of their calorie intake to ensure reaching their desired levels of fitness. To facilitate this and provide for the increased demand, Beexfit decided to develop a mobile application.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

The Solution<\/h2>\r\n

Swiss Tomato developed the Beexfit app to provide an all rounded application in the world of health. The application<\/a> was developed for both iOS and Android and has a complex back-end solution, where the administrators can add and edit all content, track users and provide personalised training and meal plans.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

User Profile<\/h4>\n

Along with personal information such as address and phone number, the profile page is especially important in Beexfit as this is where users can register their personal and lifestyle details.<\/p>\n

Calorie Counter<\/h4>\n

The calorie counter works on a daily basis, personalised to the users\u2019 body type, weight and goal by showing the total calories that they should ingest in a day. For each day, users can enter what they consumed for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. The meals and foods can be chosen from an extensive database, as well as the recipes available, or entered manually.<\/p>\n

Statistics<\/h4>\n

Multiple statics features are available for each type of data that is collected by the app. They allow a user to keep track of their progress throughout the day\/week\/month\/year. The app tracks the evolution of the body as well as the user’s performance since they started training.<\/p>\n

Recipe book<\/h4>\n

Over 500 healthy recipes are available to users, ranging from breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.<\/p>\n

Training plans<\/h4>\n

A training plan is created by a certified coach for all subscribed users. Different categories of exercises are available that can be completed at home or at the gym. Users can also create their own training plans based on the exercises uploaded in the Beexfit database.<\/p>\n

Meal plans<\/h4>\n

Based on a user’s objective, personal habits and dietary needs, the application generates meal plans for the week. These include breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack, matching the calorie and protein objectives for a given purpose.<\/p>\n

Articles<\/span><\/h4>\n

Informative articles on dieting, healthy living and exercises can be found on the homepage of the application. Along with text content, lots of images can be found to provide a more clear understanding of certain topics for users. <\/span><\/p>\n

Shopping list <\/span><\/h4>\n

Through the recipes, all ingredients to a recipe can be added to a shopping list with the click of a button. This is a very user-friendly tool, where once you have added a product in your cart at the store, clicking the check box will cross out the ingredient you have purchased and move it to the bottom of the list for a more clear view of what still needs to be purchased. <\/span><\/p>\n

Guides<\/span><\/h4>\n

Different guides around healthy living can be found on the application, written by certified coaches. These include managing stress levels, improving your quality of sleep, healthier eating and how to get the correct exercise that your body needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Results<\/h2>\r\n

The Beexfit application had a very successful launch with great user feedback, thanks to its clean design and user friendly focus. New users are not only the clients from the fitness centres, but clients from all over Switzerland.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n
